In compliance with the legal obligations established by the legislator to protect your privacy (article 3 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003), our Real Estate Agency wishes to advise you, in advance, how your personal data will be used and what your rights are by notifying you of the following:
- The data you provide will be processed in compliance with the principles of lawfulness, correctness, relevance and minimisation, and only in order to fulfil the brokerage service relating to the purchase/sale/rent of the property you are interested in; in any case, your data will only be stored for a period of time no longer than that strictly necessary to complete the aforementioned brokerage service;

Providing data is mandatory in order to open the aforementioned negotiation relationship and failure to provide all the necessary data will prevent negotiations from being concluded;

Providing the data required by anti-money laundering legislation is mandatory and any refusal to provide all the necessary data will prevent any professional service from being provided. In this regard, it should be noted that processing personal data in connection with anti-money laundering obligations will be done with regard to the specific execution methods imposed on non-financial operators by the regulations on identifying and storing information as per article 3(2) of Italian Legislative Decree no. 56/2004 and adopted with Italian Ministerial Decree no. 143/2006;

Processing will be done using paper means and the use of electronic tools which are strictly necessary in order to provide the service requested. Data will be stored in databases at our facilities and processing may involve those operations provided for under article 4(1)(a) of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 (the collection, recording, organisation, storage, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, block, destruction of data, erasure, etc.);

Within the scope of processing, Agency employees and partners and contractors working for the Agency may become aware of personal data. These include external parties appointed by our Agency to carry out, in compliance with the law on privacy, checks in public registers (Deeds of Property Registry Office [Conservatoria dei Registri Immobiliari], Land Registry Office [Catasto], etc.);

Data may be communicated to registered accountants and auditors (registered in the Italian “albo dei commercialisti e dei revisori contabili”) and to labour consultants, as well as to banking and financial institutions and other parties engaged by the Agency and to whom data needs to be sent in order to fulfil administrative, tax or management obligations relating to the regular performance of our business and in order to carry out our Agency’s activities with regard to fulfilling the contractual obligations we assume towards you;

Data may also be communicated, where necessary, to debt collection agencies and registered lawyers as well as to public bodies in response to any information requested by them or by parties appointed by them for the purpose of obtaining public funding;

The Controller (with regard to the processing of personal data) is “Agenzia Romano di Romano Luciana”.

Pursuant to article 7 of the aforementioned Italian Legislative Decree no.196/2003, you have the right to know, at any time, what personal data we hold about you by contacting, whether directly or through a duly appointed party, the Controller. You also have the right to have this data updated, supplemented, rectified and erased, and to request that such data be blocked from processing, and to oppose the processing of such data. More precisely, erasing or blocking data covers that data which has been processed in breach of the law. Supplementing data requires a valid reason or motivation. You can always object to your personal data being processed for purposes connected with advertising material, direct selling or market research. In other cases, objecting to processing requires a legitimate reason.
